this so-called emotion
that tears my heart apart
I hate the reality
that makes me aware
of the truth I must face
The warmth in your smile
caress my senses
and kills my soul
A fire
that won't stop burning
it's for you and you only
The humanity you possess
the connection I feel
the commitment I wish for
Why didn't I see it coming?
I was too blind to see
too stubborn to realize that
I'm in love with you
